Your information

Privacy policy

Effective

This policy explains how AirTracker handles information when you use the Android app and this website. AirTracker is in development; this policy describes its current features.

Information we handle

Account and profile

Google sign-in supplies basic profile information: your name, email address, and profile picture. AirTracker uses this to authenticate you and set up your app profile. Email and password accounts use the details you enter when signing up. Profiles can include a phone number, birthday, bio, or photo you choose to save, plus app language, app version, and last login.

A phone number is optional during Google profile setup. Entering a number does not verify ownership or send an SMS. Some accounts may use an authenticator code as an additional sign-in step.

Notes and attachments

AirTracker stores your notes, folders, formatting, selected files and photos, and voice recordings. Signed-in notes and supported attachments can synchronize to your account’s cloud storage. Online note synchronization is on by default and can be turned off in Notes settings. Cloud note records also include account identity and installation/device labels for auditing. Preferences, imported contacts, and cached content are stored on your device.

AI features

AI-assisted titles and briefings send note content through the app’s backend to Google Gemini. Briefings can run automatically as app content changes, using up to three recent note titles and short excerpts, app-state information such as counts or settings, flight information, and airport weather. Suggested titles can send the note text. These requests are processed by Supabase and Google under their service terms and privacy practices.

Contacts and device permissions

If you grant contact access and choose to import contacts, AirTracker reads and saves their names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, birthdays, and photos locally. Audio recording uses the microphone after permission is granted. Files and photos are selected through the Android picker. Airport-weather requests use the airport’s location.

You can manage permissions in Android settings. Permission requests do not mean every permitted type of information is collected continuously.

Alerts, diagnostics, and feedback

Reminders and notifications use your saved alert settings. Arrival-alert subscriptions send a notification token and random installation identifier to the backend. Firebase services process notification delivery information, app usage, crash reports, app/device diagnostics, and app-integrity checks.

Support and feedback requests include your message and any details you choose to provide. In-app feedback also includes notification delivery information and diagnostics such as device model, manufacturer, operating-system and app versions, screen resolution, network status, and timezone. Flight, weather, map, and media features may make requests to external services; those services receive connection information needed to respond.

How information is used

Service providers

AirTracker uses Supabase for authentication, account data, storage, backend functions, and feedback; Google for sign-in and Gemini AI; and Firebase for notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and app-integrity checks. Maps and embedded media may involve additional providers.

Read the Supabase privacy policy, Google privacy policy, and Firebase privacy information for their practices.

Your choices

You can edit supported profile details, remove notes or imported contacts, turn off online note sync, sign out, and manage permissions and notifications in Android settings. Turning off sync does not erase existing cloud content. Signing out does not delete your account or its content.

Removing a synced note while signed in with sync enabled requests removal of its cloud record and attachments. Requests can wait for a connection or retry. The app has no self-service button to delete a whole account; use the contact channel below to request help with account-data deletion.

Storage and security

Account content, local caches, queued feedback, diagnostics, backups, and provider records can have different retention periods. Removing active content may not immediately remove provider logs or backup copies.

AirTracker uses authenticated account access and network services; no storage or transmission method is guaranteed completely secure.

This website

These pages do not include account sign-in, advertising, or analytics scripts. Firebase Hosting may process connection and delivery information when serving published pages.

If you choose to send website feedback, your message, selected category, optional reply email, page path, and a randomly generated browser identifier are sent through Supabase to the developer’s feedback inbox. The browser identifier is saved locally to distinguish website submissions; your message is kept in memory while you edit it and is not saved to browser storage.

To limit repeated submissions, the feedback service briefly stores a daily hashed network identifier with the submission receipt. It does not store your raw network address in that record. These rate-limit records are removed after two days when the service next handles feedback. Please leave out passwords, booking details, and other private information.

Contact and privacy requests

For privacy questions or requests about deleting account data, use Feedback on the home page, or open Settings → Feedback → Send in the AirTracker Android app. Feedback is available without signing in. Describe your request without including personal data, passwords, or authentication codes.

Android app feedback may be saved on your device and retried when a connection is available. Website feedback requires a connection and confirms when the service accepts your message. Sending a request does not automatically delete your account or its content.
